A unique two-week course to help you navigate a change in your life and rediscover your vitality.
After such an unpredictable and tempestuous time, it’s not surprising that so many of us feel like we are standing at a crossroads.
Our lives are very different than they were a couple years ago.
Add to that personal life events such as work changes, relationships and “unexpected external forces”, and it’s easy to feel lost. So many life questions: What next? What am I for? What do I do now?
In the Lifefinding course, we dive into these questions together and provide practical exercises and tools to participants who are seeking to (re)design their work and life with insight and intention. The course involves a mix of small group and one-to-one interaction that provides for connection, creativity and brainstorming that would be hard to match in one-to-one coaching alone. And it’s fun!
By the end of our two weeks together, you will feel more purposeful, energized, meaningfully connected to others and confident in your next steps!
Class sessions are as fun and engaging as they are effective and practical. By the end of the program, you will feel:
Purposeful and prepared
More energized and enthusiastic
More meaningfully connected to others
Confident in your next steps

About The Facilitator:
Jonathan Gibson - As a small child, Jonathan loved giving hugs and taking risks (his mother will happily tell you the story of how, at under 9 months old, he climbed onto the kitchen counter to turn on the toaster oven). He wouldn’t realize it until much later, but these values are at the core of who Jonathan is and how he lives his life. Jonathan is a genuine, caring person who thrives on forming connections and building community. He is passionate about personal growth and self-discovery and has spent his career as an experiential educator honing his skills to facilitate people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
Along the way, Jonathan has received extensive education and training in social and cognitive psychology, social emotional learning, leadership, and group development (at Duke University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology, National Outdoor Leadership School, and beyond). He has also sought out valuable life experience in various roles such as World Traveler, Mad Scientist, Hug Trainer, Preschool Teacher, and Wilderness Instructor.
His most recent (and most challenging) undertaking has been the role of Daddy to his lively daughter Lilah. Jonathan strives to grow and further discover how to be true to himself, and he looks forward to continuing this journey along with fellow Wayfinders.
An introduction and riff on what to expect from course facilitator Jonathan Gibson - a masterful, joy-inspiring educator and cultivator of connection at Wayfinding College.
About the Teaching Assistant and Guide:
Michelle Jones, Ph.D. - Michelle is doing her life's work right now, which is exhilarating and terrifying. Her purpose in life is to help others figure out what they want to do with their lives and start doing it. Five years ago, she gathered a group of like-minded friends and colleagues around a vision of what a revolution in higher education could look like. After years of volunteering with groups and non-profits to organize for social impact, (SuperThank, TEDxMtHood, World Domination Summit) Michelle took the leap and Wayfinding Academy was born. We are still learning as we grow, but we are definitely seeing some ripple effects of change in higher education. When not ruffling the feathers of traditional higher education, Michelle can be found walking the Camino de Santiago with fellow Wayfinders (April 2022 will be her eighth time!) or relaxing at her tiny home in Portland, Oregon.
