Our application process is about getting to know you as a human—what lights you up and where you want your life to go.
At Wayfinding College (formerly Wayfinding Academy) we don’t have an Admissions office, we have Matchmakers! Our application process has three key parts and is designed to help you determine if Wayfinding Academy is the right fit for you and your aspirations.
The Application
A written application* with nine key questions that help provide us with a picture of where you’re at, what drives you and how you believe Wayfinding could help get you there.
The Conversation
An informal conversation with one of our Matchmakers to give you a chance to connect face to face and ask any questions you might have.
Find Your Fit Day
An in-person or virtual visit to the Wayfinding campus where you get to know some of our students and crew members, and get a taste for life at Wayfinding.

FAQs About the Matchmaking Process
Does Wayfinding consider my grades or test scores?
Test scores and grades are not who you are and therefore not a part of determining your fit for Wayfinding Academy.
What is the deadline to apply?
While we accept applications year round on a rolling basis, applications will need to be submitted by April 1st to be considered for our Spring start date and by August 1st for our Fall start date.
The earlier you apply, the better chance you have at being awarded a scholarship if you are eligible.
Can I mail a printed application or submit my application in alternative formats?
Yes! We want you to feel empowered to communicate in the way that best represents you, whether that is in writing, pictures, video, conversation, or some other way.
If you would prefer to submit a verbal/spoken application or to send a printed application — that's great. Please email our matchmaking team: matchmaking@wayfindingacademy.org
What happens after I submit my application?
Once you’ve submitted your application, a member of our matchmaking team will follow up with you via email as soon as possible about next steps. If you are invited to join the next cohort, you will be asked to submit a deposit to secure your spot!
